You who seek God

Let your hearts revive

For He is faithful to come around His children with two arms

To hold them in their distress

You who seek God

Let your hearts revive

Though none are present

He is present

In the hands and feet of

His saints

And in their absence

His Spirit comforts the needy

You who seek God

Let your hearts revive

For He answers sorrow with beauty

His day flowers and His night stars

Turn their faces towards us

A balm in the ache of living

A gentle song to the weary heart

You who seek God

Let your hearts revive

For He answers us from the whirlwind

And is not moved

Chaos is as atoms to Him

The flood and the fire

Even the mire that ensnares us

He will mold as a child’s plaything

He will shape it around us

And what He makes of it will delight

You who seek God

Let your hearts revive

For the Lord hears the needy

And does not despise His own people who are prisoners

He will stand with us

And revive our hearts even in captivity

He will stay with us

Till the chains fall free

This is so good Sarah! Thank you! Loved the phrase even the mire that ensnares…and what He makes of it delights.
